Family Belek done well — and here is how to get the most out of it.
Settle the room category in advance: the choice is huge — the main building or the lakeside bungalows, and some categories come with privileges such as a holiday assistant, turndown service, late check-out and a VIP transfer with an airport meet.
On food, count it this way: a main restaurant with a large choice of meat and fish dishes, seasonal fruit, desserts and pastries, plus 7 à la carte restaurants — one open around the clock and free to visit. By day — 2 snack bars, a fruit stall with fresh fruit and smoothies, and a Vitamin bar with juices and herbal teas.
With babies it is easier than usual: jarred baby food on site, a blender for making your own, and the kids' club has a restaurant of its own.
The beach is sandy and wide with an easy entry into the water; there is a bar on the pier, and the Galata Beach Club on the shore does lunch and DJ sets.
After the 2022 renovation the resort is noticeably refreshed — a good sign, including for those who knew it in its Ela Quality days and are thinking of coming back.
