is called the "Turkish Maldives" and is considered one of the most beautiful hotels on the Turkish coast.
The hotel is located on the Datca Peninsula in southwestern Turkey. Mountain scenery is all around, with pine trees growing everywhere. Guests note the exceptionally fortunate location of D Maris Bay: it sits right in a bay, surrounded by mountains, with no wind or waves.
The hotel provides transfers to and from the airport in a comfortable Mercedes seating up to 8 people. You can also reach the resort by air taxi — an Airbus EC145 helicopter, a 25-minute flight for an additional fee. A hotel representative meets guests in the airport arrivals hall and helps with luggage.
The grounds of the 5* D Maris Bay are very beautiful: the accommodation building stands on the cliffs, while the beaches and restaurants are below. The main beach can be reached by funicular or buggy, or you can walk down the stairs and take your time enjoying the stunning views. The other beaches are reached by boat, which takes literally a couple of minutes.
The hotel has 5 beaches in total, each with sun loungers, a restaurant and a bar; on some you can rent a pavilion. The sand everywhere is imported and snow-white.
Breakfast is included in the room rate and is served buffet-style at The Terrace restaurant. There is a wide selection of fresh fruit, gozleme flatbreads with various fillings, pancakes, several kinds of olives, cheeses and several kinds of freshly squeezed juices.
