The right way to live in Gocek is a villa with a private pool, and Club Prive by Rixos is built around exactly that idea.
There are three villa types to choose from; whichever you take, you get a private pool, a sunbathing area and serviced pavilions on the beach. The beach is a strong suit: white imported sand, a gentle slope into calm, waveless water.
Understand the format before you book: this is a small club resort attached to the large Rixos Premium Gocek. It has two restaurants of its own — Club House and The Beach — plus four bars and in-villa dining, while yoga, fitness, volleyball and aqua aerobics happen over on the "senior" territory. Some will mind that detail, others will find it convenient: the infrastructure is big, but you live in quiet.
The village of Gocek is a few minutes away on foot: an hour covers the whole promenade, with cafes, small shops and an international yachting crowd.
One for those who value privacy and an unhurried pace: the format is intimate, adult, with none of the club-scene bustle.
