A practical breakdown for anyone choosing between a room and a villa: the villas here are a category of their own, with Hawaiian or Balinese design, a private pool and a terrace. Travelling as a family or a group — take the villa; the difference in privacy is worth it.
The location is straightforward: the village of Goynuk, 9 km to Kemer, 45 km to Antalya airport. The beach is 700 metres of sand and pebbles with its own jetty and pier; sun loungers, umbrellas and towels are free, the beach pavilions cost extra.
On food: a buffet with sensible zoning — the children's corner and the dietary zone in the main restaurant solve things for parents and for anyone watching what they eat. In good weather, sit out on the open terrace.
Entertainment comes in both temperaments: jacuzzi, massage and pools for the calm; water slides, bowling, billiards, a banana boat, a jet ski and a catamaran for the active.
A balanced option for a family holiday on the Mediterranean: enough comfort to feel looked after, and enough movement to never be bored.
