Honest review
An option for the 'city plus sea within walking distance' scenario. Location decides it: the facade opens onto The Walk — the most popular promenade in the city — with Dubai airport 33 km away (about 30 minutes) and Sharjah 58.
The most important practical point: the beach is not the resort's own. The public sandy Jumeirah Beach Residence beach is a 5-minute walk away; mats and towels are free, an umbrella costs extra. If a private shore is essential, this is not your option; if the promenade and freedom of movement matter more, it's an excellent one.
Rooms and suites all come with balconies and views of the Gulf and Ain Dubai; the decor mixes teak, Arabic motifs and French elegance.
We'll suggest the evening plan straight away: coffee and pastries at Café Concierge, a French-style dinner at AOC International Buffet, wine on the open terrace at Plantation Brasserie.
Who it suits: those who prefer to walk Dubai rather than drive it — and love the French aesthetic.
