Honest review
The first thing to know: you can only get here by water. The resort stands on the island of 'Argentina' in The World Islands archipelago, 4 km off the Dubai shoreline; from DXB airport it is around 40 minutes (taxi plus boat), from DWC about 50.
That same fact is its main advantage: a private island in the Persian Gulf, just 70 villas and suites, and a panorama of Dubai and Palm Jumeirah across the water.
The resort states its own formula — 'Maldivian calm and Arabian hospitality': private villas in harmony with nature, at an Emirati level of service. It works both for a serene trip for two and for a family holiday.
A note for families: the Tuktuk kids' club takes children aged 4–12 from 8 in the morning to 8 in the evening — parents get a full day to themselves. There is an outdoor pool.
A planning tip: group your city outings — every trip means a boat. Then again, each return to the island reminds you why you chose it.
