Honest review
An option for those whose main criterion is the beach: Dolphin Bay is 6 kilometres of shoreline with a gentle slope into the water, safe for adults and children alike.
Now, honestly, the logistics, because here they decide everything. First, it is a long way: roughly 3.5 hours by car from Bangkok airport, 40 km from Hua Hin. Second, the resort itself does not stand on the sand — the beach is 900 metres away, with a tuk-tuk running four times a day. If that doesn't put you off, you get a seclusion the well-trodden places never have.
Take accommodation with room to spare: the two-room, 69-square-metre villa with a full kitchen and a separate bedroom is the right choice for a family. A separate bonus — the rooftop terraces with mountain views, a whirlpool bath and a barbecue area.
The verdict: this is not about nightlife — it is about your own circle, a long beach and quiet evenings by the water.
