If you are choosing a resort in Sanya for a family, Sanya Marriott Yalong Bay belongs at the top of the list: both the beach and the children's infrastructure are equally well handled here.
The beach is a private strip right on Yalong Bay: soft sand, clean sea, a calm atmosphere and direct access from the grounds.
With the pools, we advise not stopping at one: there are several, including lagoons and a separate children's zone — you can build a whole route through them in a day. The kids' club is organised by zones: slides and playgrounds for the active hours, crafts and quiet rest for a breather.
For parents we recommend reserving time at Quan Spa: it is set in a private villa amid the gardens, so treatments pass in complete silence.
And simply set aside an hour for a walk: 10 hectares of tropical garden against green mountain slopes is an event in itself.
A resort for families with children and anyone who needs an unhurried holiday by the sea.
