A calm tropical resort on a white-sand beach in Hainan — for anyone who wants Sanya without the city bustle. Hainan Greentown Blue Bay Resort stands in one of the most scenic districts: palms and exotic greenery all around, crystal-clear turquoise water ahead.
There is no isolation, though: the island's main sights are within easy reach, so beach days are simple to mix with outings.
The rooms are spacious, with panoramic windows; the interiors are modern Asian in style, folded neatly into the natural landscape.
An important caveat for families: the resort works on a set-menu concept and may not provide extra meals for a child aged 0 to 6 — a small child's meals are either booked separately on the spot, or the child eats from the parents' plate. Build this into the budget in advance.
