Honest review
If Dubai is done and the Gulf still calls, look at Bahrain: Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain Resort & Spa joins Jumeirah's signature service to the country's culture and traditions, and does it right on the Persian Gulf shore.
The resort opened in 2022, so the entire stock — 207 rooms and villas — is genuinely fresh. The architecture takes its cue from the motion of a wave: flowing lines, a soft rhythm, plenty of air. Views are a strong suit: the bay, emerald gardens or the canals from every room and suite.
A separate reason to come is the spa, already garlanded with awards: the place frames itself as a journey into health and wellbeing, not just a beach week.
Practicalities: check-out is at 12:00; late check-out is available to Jumeirah One members at Silver, Gold and Platinum tiers. If you hold the status, declare it when booking.
For whom: couples and spa devotees who value seclusion, brand-new rooms and a Gulf without the bustle.
