Honest review
Hon Tre island, a secluded bay within Nha Trang bay: sea, soft sand and green hills instead of city noise — while Nha Trang itself stays close at hand, across the harbour.
The rooms and villas are spacious and modern, with panoramic windows and balconies; the views are of the sea or the tended gardens. The advice is simple: if the picture from your window is the point, fix a sea-view category at booking.
The infrastructure is well developed: restaurants of international and Vietnamese cuisine, bars, a large pool right by the sea and a spa centre. For families with children there are activities and play areas — a child will not be bored.
The transfer comes in stages, and that is worth understanding in advance: from Cam Ranh airport to the port is 24–26 km, the drive takes 45–60 minutes, then comes the crossing to the island. The reward is the feeling of a world apart.
Who it suits: families and couples who want island seclusion without giving up a full-scale infrastructure.
