Mandarin Oriental Jumeira Dubai is a designer resort with an unspoiled ocean feel, views of the azure Persian Gulf and the city's glittering skyline, crowned by the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa.
Created by award-winning designer Jeffrey A. Wilkes, this chic beach resort features spacious, elegant, contemporary interiors, with a balcony and panoramic views in every room. Guests are greeted by a forest of light — 14 mesmerizing trees, each shimmering with 900 lights — while cool, calm white marble floors carry you away from the desert heat into a blissful oasis.
The spa is another design point of pride. The first thing we recommend noticing is the design itself: like the rest of the resort, it is superbly executed and carries a deeper idea. The curved, layered ceiling evokes sand dunes and contrasts perfectly with the floor in shades of blue — an image of the Persian Gulf and the power of water. The second is the treatments themselves: here you can indulge in one of the many therapies and enjoy quiet reflection in one of the relaxation pods.
At this resort you will find notes of Asian exoticism, impeccable service, and a modern, stylish design created not only for guests' comfort but with real thought behind it. There are several restaurants and bars serving Japanese, Portuguese and international cuisine, many of them opened by world-famous chefs.
