Honest review
Singapore within walking distance — literally: Pan Pacific Singapore connects directly to the Marina Square mall and the Suntec convention centre and stands at the gateway to the city's central business and financial districts.
The geography favours pedestrians: 800 metres to the Esplanade arts centre, 1.1 km to Gardens by the Bay, 1.3 km to the National Gallery Singapore, the Victoria Theatre and the Asian Civilisations Museum. You are unlikely to need a car on this trip.
The rooms are calm urban classics: a king-size bed or two singles, a bathroom with a refreshing tropical shower and a proper work zone — the business scenario is thought through as well as the tourist one.
The senior categories are worth a look: guests of the Panoramic Suite and the Pan Pacific Suite get a limousine on arrival and departure and, booked in advance, up to two hours a day in the private dining rooms of the Pacific Club Lounge. A useful domestic detail: laundry or pressing of up to two items per person per day is already included. Who it is for: those coming to Singapore to walk everywhere and live at the centre of things.
